About This Pet
Shy is a young German Shepherd who is looking for a calm, experienced home after the passing of her owner. Her current caregiver loves her, but due to health concerns, she is no longer able to safely manage Shy’s energy and anxiety.
Shy is overwhelmed right now and needs more than just a place to land — she needs someone who understands German Shepherds, anxious dogs, and the importance of patience, structure, and decompression. She is currently very pent-up, struggles on leash, has difficulty settling, and can become unsafe when overstimulated.
This girl is not a match for first-time dog owners, but in the right hands, Shy may finally get the chance to feel safe, supported, and understood. She needs a compassionate, breed-savvy person who can give her time, consistency, and guidance as she learns how to relax and navigate the world.
If you have the heart, experience, and commitment to help Shy, please reach out.
