Shelterpay to QuickBooks Integration Privacy Policy

Siskiyou Humane Society, Inc. operates a private internal software integration used to assist with transferring and reconciling financial information between Shelterluv/Shelterpay and QuickBooks Online.
Purpose
The integration is used solely for Siskiyou Humane Society’s internal accounting and financial administration.
It is not offered to the public and is not used by outside customers or organizations.
Information Processed
The integration may process financial transaction information necessary to reconcile Shelterpay payouts with QuickBooks Online, including:
payout identifiers and dates;
transaction identifiers;
transaction amounts;
processing fees;
refunds and adjustments;
Shelterluv fund or GL codes;
transaction item names; and
QuickBooks account information necessary for accounting categorization.
The integration is designed to avoid retaining donor or customer personally identifiable information when that information is not required for accounting reconciliation.
QuickBooks Online
The integration connects to QuickBooks Online using Intuit’s authorized OAuth authentication process.
QuickBooks credentials and passwords are not collected by Siskiyou Humane Society through this application.
Information obtained from QuickBooks Online is used solely for Siskiyou Humane Society’s internal accounting purposes.
Sharing of Information
Information processed by this integration is not sold, rented, or provided to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate Shelterluv, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365, and related organizational technology systems.
Data Security
Siskiyou Humane Society takes reasonable measures to protect financial information and authentication credentials used by the integration.
Access to the integration is restricted to authorized Siskiyou Humane Society personnel.
Data Retention
Information is retained only as necessary for accounting, reconciliation, audit, security, and organizational recordkeeping purposes.
Disconnecting QuickBooks
Authorization for the integration to access QuickBooks Online may be revoked through QuickBooks or Intuit account settings.
