About This Pet

Rocket is one of five kittens, approximately 3 months old, born under our home to a feral mother cat. Since being rescued, Rocket has been living safely indoors in a spare room with the other kittens while slowly adjusting to life around people.

We are currently unsure if Rocket is male or female. Rocket is an all-black, medium-haired kitten with a gentle spirit and is the shyest of the litter. Rather than hissing or showing aggression, Rocket prefers to quietly retreat and observe from a safe hiding place. As confidence grows, Rocket will come out to watch from a distance and is beginning to show curiosity about people.

Before being rescued, Rocket often acted like the little scout of the family, venturing out first while keeping an eye on the other kittens. That curious nature is still there beneath the fear. With patient, gentle interactions and time to build trust, we believe Rocket will continue making steady progress.

Rocket enjoys the company of the other kittens and would likely do well in a calm home with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Behind those cautious eyes is a sweet kitten just waiting to feel safe enough to shine.
