The Board of Directors meets the last Tuesday of every month @ 5:30pm at the Siskiyou Humane Society Shelter, and our annual meeting takes place in June.
Rochelle Dunmore, President
Rochelle knows a thing or two about herding cats—literally and figuratively. She joined the SHS Board in 2025 with a background in nonprofit and operations management, and a home ruled by two rescue cats who graciously allow her to live there. She’s passionate about creating a more humane community for animals and the people who care for them.
Kristy Cottini, Treasurer
Kristy was born and raised in McCloud where she spent much of her childhood riding horses. She retired from the U.S. Forest Service in 2014, after 38 years of service on the Shasta Trinity National Forest. She enjoys trail riding with her Mustang Macy, playing golf, skiing, enjoying our lakes and generally everything in the outdoors. Kristy splits her time between her childhood home in McCloud and her home in Palo Cedro, with her husband David, Macy, and their dog Sandy.
Anne-Marie Hosler, Secretary
Anne-Marie is the passionate owner and founder of Game Changer Marketing Group, bringing years of expertise in strategic marketing and business development to her role. With a deep commitment to innovative solutions and community engagement, Anne-Marie has successfully led numerous impactful campaigns that have transformed businesses across various industries. Her dedication extends beyond the boardroom, as she actively supports local causes, including many of Siskiyou County’s animal welfare initiatives. Anne-Marie’s hopes her efforts and creativity to make a positive difference in her community and the lives of others. When Anne-Marie is not working, she’s hanging out with her Husband, Woody and their dog Ursa, horses – Major and Clyde and cat, Rory.
Deb Harton, Director
Deb moved to Siskiyou County in 1990, but still considers herself a flatlander. She attended COS and later Chico State University under a full scholarship from the Ford Family Foundation. She worked for the County of Siskiyou. Always an animal lover, she maintains a poultry page on Facebook called ChickenFolk of Siskiyou County, rides horses, and traps stray or lost dogs in her spare time. Deb resides in Dunsmuir, and shares her life with a human teenager, one horse, three dogs, one cat and kittens, 30 chickens, and a large rat named Barry.
Pam Scheer, Director
Pam and her husband moved to Siskiyou county in 2021 from the central valley. Pam has had a love for animals since she could walk and talk. She been a veterinary technician, and worked with animal rescues throughout her adult years. Pam works in nutritional supplements for animals and humans. Pam and her husband have five dogs. They also have horses and produce and participate in barrel races.
