Siskiyou Humane Society (“SHS”) provides a mobile messaging program that includes appointment reminders, adoption and foster updates, two‑way communication with staff, and general shelter notifications.

By opting in—whether through an online form, over the phone, or by texting an opt‑in keyword such as YES, START, or SUBSCRIBE—you agree to receive SMS text messages from SHS.

  • Opt‑Out Instructions: You may unsubscribe at any time by texting STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, or END.
  • Help: For assistance, text HELP or contact us at sheltermanager@siskiyouhumane.org or 530‑926‑4052.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interactions with SHS.
  • Charges: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Delivery: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
    Your participation in our SMS program is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt‑in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. By agreeing to receive messages from Siskiyou Humane Society, you understand that message frequency varies, and message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.

 
3. Donations and Payments
