“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” … Anatole France
The Siskiyou Human Society is a “no kill” facility so all the animals we take in will have a home until they can be adopted. Sometimes due to the age, medical or emotional reasons this can take an extended period of time before they leave us for their new home. These animals need additional care, training and love. You can help to make a difference in their lives and help them find a new home sooner.
Not all of us are able to adopt a pet into our home, but virtually anyone can be involved in the life of an animal by becoming a sponsor! Your generous monthly gift of $5, $10, $15 or $20 covers a portion of your animal’s food, bedding, training, and medical care. As an animal sponsor, you’ll receive quarterly updates on your sponsored animal’s progress, opportunity to visit your sponsored pet at the shelter and/or take them on walks if appropriate.
